AND ALCOHOL INTERVENTIONAND TREATMENT SERVICES
860. Hon SALLY TALBOT to the Attorney General
representing the Minister for Corrective Services:
I refer to the announcement that the
Department of Corrective Services will spend more than $5.6 million this
financial year on drug and alcohol intervention and treatment services. How
much of this money will be spent on each of the following services —
(a) Court Assessment and Treatment
Service;
(b) Breaking Out program;
(c) Pathways program;
(d) PAST program;
(e) Drug and Alcohol Through-care
Service;
(f) Brief Intervention Service; and
(g) Health in Prisons, Health Outta
Prisons program.

The Department of Corrective
Services advises that the following money has been spent on each service —
(a) Court Assessment and Treatment
Service, $1.9 million;
(b) Breaking Out program, $0.2 million;
(c) Pathways program, $2.2 million;
(d) PAST program, $0.2 million;
(e) Drug and Alcohol Through-care
Service, $0.7 million;
(f) Brief Intervention Service, $0.2 million;
and
(g) Health in Prisons, Health Outta
Prisons program, $0.2 million.
