COLLIE JUST TRANSITION
PLAN
1193. Hon Dr STEVE THOMAS to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
I refer to the $662 million Collie
just transition plan, incorporating the $547.4 million Collie transition
package, and I ask the following, as at the 14 October 2024.
(1) Excluding the
associated inherently temporary and finite construction employment generated
within the Collie just transition plan, how
many permanent full-time or part-time positions have been created in Collie directly associated with the $662 million transition plan?
(2) Given that Collie's energy sector employs
over 1 250 workers and contractors, how many of these workers have,
under the auspices of the transition plan, transitioned from the town's
energy sector workforce into alternative full-time or part-time employment?
