The Department of Justice advises:
The Department of Justice is unable to provide an answer as this would require a significant level of resource to manually interrogate each prisoner medical records. However, all prisoners are provided appropriate medical care according to their assessed health needs. All prisoners are seen within 24 hours of entering into a prison by a Clinical Nurse, and triaged based on clinical acuity.
