508. Hon ALANNA CLOHESY to the minister representing the
Minister for Local Government:
I refer to the Department of Local Government and Communities'
answer to the Standing Committee on Estimates and Financial Operations'
question B9 on 5 July 2012 in relation to expenditure on local government
reform. Will the minister provide updated figures for the 2011–12 and
2012–13 financial years; and, if not, why not?

I thank the member for some notice of the question.
For the consolidated account, the 2011–12 actual is
$2 216 000 and the 2012–13 actual is $1 146 000. For the commonwealth
local government reform fund, the 2011–12 actual is $1.217 million and
the 2012–13 actual is $126 000. For the royalties for regions country
local government fund, the 2011–12 actual is $1.771 million and the
2012–13 actual is $2.188 million. The total for 2011–12 is $5 204
000 and the total for 2012–13 is $3 460 000.
