I refer to the Premier’s statement during Department of Premier and Cabinet Assembly Estimates of 9 June 2015 that the projected media placement expenditure by government in 2014-15, including the Bigger Picture campaign, is $23.2 million, and I ask: (a) was the final media placement expenditure more or less than $23.2 million; (b) what was the final media placement expenditure; (c) did this expenditure include media placement expenditure by government trading enterprises; (d) if no to (c), what was the total media placement expenditure by government trading enterprises for 2014-15; and (e) which agency provided the estimated media placement expenditure figures used by the Premier during these Estimates hearings?

(a) Less

(c) No. Since inception of the CUA Contract for media placement (in 1987), expenditure by GTE's has always been reported under a separate category as they do not have to comply with Government Advertising and Communications Policy and Guidelines.
(d) $17.8 million; and
(e) The Department of the Premier and Cabinet.
