I thank the Leader of the
Opposition for some notice of the question. The following answer has been
provided to me by the Minister for Police.
The
Quarantine (Closing the Border) Directions came into effect in Western Australia
at 11.59 pm on 5 April 2020 . The Western Australia Police Force advises
the following.

Quarantine (Closing the Border) Directions came into effect, 15 772 people have
entered Western Australia from domestic airline travel.

possible to break down the exact number of applications that have been
rejected. Applications for exemption are
assessed on an individual basis. The exact number of rejected applications is
not recorded.
