What is the future of the Agriculture Protection Board? Hon KIM CHANCE

AnswerView source ↗

The Agriculture Protection Board is a statutory agency within Agriculture Western Australia. It has a long role, but it is one of three statutory agencies lying within that portfolio - another is the Soil and Land Conservation Council - which is under review. However, as statutory agencies, a process has to be followed in that review. Part of the process of review of those three statutory agencies will be a requirement for them to justify that they are continuing to serve Agriculture in the most effective way possible.
