The Country Attraction and Retention Survey formed part of an internal research project undertaken by the Human Resources Division to gain a better understanding of the factors influencing an employee's decision to join the Department for Child Protection and Family Support and to work in either a Country or Metropolitan District.
An analysis of the findings resulted in the identification and prioritisation of fourteen strategies to enhance the attraction and retention of staff, particularly to the country districts.
