I refer to Budget Paper No. 2, Volume 2 at page 537 "Spending Changes", line item "Early Psychosis Youth Centre", and ask the Minister to clarify: (a) whether a centre will be established; (b) where the centre will be located; (c) when the centre will be established and when it will be open to provide services to the public; (d) what services will be provided from the centre; and (e) if the information sought above is not known, when will it be known?

(a-e) The original plans in relation to developing an Early Psychosis Youth Centre (EPYC) have been impacted by the Commonwealth government's decision to fund their service through
headspace
and a need for the Mental Health Commission to be fully informed about the changes to the model, timeline for delivery and any other factors that may influence the State government's investment in this service type.
The State Government's decision about the appropriate options for Early Psychosis Youth services will be made by March 2014.
