Transperth and regional town bus security is allocated in accordance with the level of antisocial behaviour that is being experienced or expected to occur.
In the larger regional towns including Bunbury, regional town buses are equipped with CCTV and a two-way radio with duress alarms that enable bus drivers to seek assistance from their local home bus depot, where required.
Transwa road coaches are fitted with eight CCTV cameras that record vision from within the coach whenever the vehicle is in operation. The Transwa driver also has access to a distress button system which is monitored by a Transwa Operations Officer who will act by ringing Police for assistance if required.
