benefit from gender separate facilities arising from the announcement?
(4) Will any

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1)–(2) The
Cook Labor government will deliver an additional 60 career fire and rescue
service firefighters to the Department of Fire and Emergency Services as part
of the biggest boost to frontline emergency services operations in Western Australia
in more than 50 years.
(3)–(4)
The Cook government's $75.4 million package includes $4.9 million to
deliver gender separate facilities at 10 CFRS stations and $2.8 million for
post-incident hygiene facilities at 14 CFRS stations.
Volunteer firefighters can access
post-incident hygiene showers at their nearest CFRS station or existing
facility where applicable. DFES will continue with its facility modification
program which progressively upgrades tunic rooms and incorporates gender
separation partitioning at volunteer fire emergency services facilities across
the state.
