I refer to the 2008 Liberal Party election policy which stated that, as better economic managers, the Liberal Party would deliver improved arts infrastructure solutions, located and planned to identify and leverage opportunities for education, and I ask the Minister to detail all funded initiatives within her Education portfolio that have seen arts infrastructure solutions accessed and used by students.

In terms of Infrastructure, the Department of Education has provided performing art facilities at Atwell College, Ashdale Secondary College, Stage One at Karratha Senior High School, Manea College, Perth Modern School, Wanneroo Senior High School and Rockingham Senior High School in 2009 and 2010.
In addition new facilities will be provided at Applecross Senior High School, Governor Stirling Senior High School, Baldivis Senior High School, Butler Senior High School, Byford Senior High School and Banksia Grove Senior High School which are scheduled to be completed from 2012 to 2015.
Construction will commence shortly on upgraded facilities at Churchlands Senior High School.
For information on funded and in-kind initiatives and partnerships in place that represent an investment in ensuring that the arts are integrated within education programs, please refer to Legislative Assembly Question on Notice 2846.
