2008/2009: On 4 and 5 August 2008, Verve Energy conducted a Strategic Planning event at the Joondalup Resort. Ten Verve Energy employees, two Board Directors and three representatives from PricewaterhouseCoopers attended. The total cost of this event was $6,406.

2010/2011: n/a.
2011/2012: (a) In mid-2011 Verve Energy commenced a 12-month Leadership Development Program. Our leadership group of 90 employees, including all senior executives, is participating in the Program. Expenditure on this Leadership Program during 2011/2012 currently stands at $455,000. This amount includes presentation, facilitation, coaching, venue and catering costs. Board members are not involved.
(b) In late-2011 one senior executive attended the General Management Program at the Harvard Business School in the USA. The total cost of this program was $81,772 including travel and accommodation.
On 16 and 17 February 2012 four Verve Energy employees attended a Strategic Planning session at the Sebel Mandurah. The total cost of this event was $2,077.
