I refer the minister to lot 587 Herbert Street, Broome, which is currently the subject of expressions of interest to purchase, and ask - (1) Is the Government interested in purchasing the lot? (2) If so, how does it propose to use the land? Hon NICK GRIFFITHS

(1) The Department of Housing and Works is interested in purchasing the lot and is considering the lodgment of an expression of interest, either independently or in conjunction with a private party. (2) The Department of Housing and Works’ proposal would be based primarily on residential use.
