I refer the minister to the West Atlas oil rig Kimberley oil spill incident. (1) Does the minister expect the full cooperation of PTTEP Australasia in any investigation into this spill? (2) Has the minister held discussions with the petroleum industry and/or the commonwealth government to see what improvements can be implemented immediately to ensure that the risk of this type of incident occurring in the future can be reduced?
