I have just outlined the significant investment that this
government has made into Joondalup Health Campus. It is helpful to listen to
the answer. That includes expanded hospital beds, expanded theatres and 102
mental health beds. We are also about to open the brand new multistorey car
park. These are the things that will relieve pressure on Joondalup Health
Campus. We are absolutely working with the provider towards alternative models
of care in Joondalup.
Ms L. Mettam interjected.
Ms A. SANDERSON : You cannot criticise the government
for delivering what will relieve the most pressure in that hospital.
Ms L. Mettam interjected.
Ms A. SANDERSON : You cannot! You just cannot!
Several members interjected.
The SPEAKER : Order, please!
Ms A. SANDERSON : Check it
out! We have increased our commitment to that health campus significantly, by
hundreds of millions of dollars. That includes 102 mental health beds. I am
sure that the member will get up and criticise the delivery of over 100 mental
health beds. She will still find some way to criticise the delivery of all
those mental health beds.
