The Ministry for Culture & the Arts has prepared plans for the upgrade of the Regal Theatre and these are outlined in the performing arts venues masterplan, titled Capital Works, Capital Venues. Funding for this project is built into the Ministry's ten-year capital investment plan and is subject to the usual budget process.
