(1) The review has been completed and a new Draft Metropolitan Activity Centres Policy is in the final stages of drafting.
(2) It is expected that the Draft Metropolitan Activity Centres Policy will be presented to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) on 26 May 2009 for consideration.
(3) If adopted by the WAPC as a draft policy, it will be released for public comment as soon as the necessary administrative arrangements can be made.
(4) If and when the Draft Policy is adopted by the WAPC, the Minister will be able to table it in Parliament.
