Four Police Auxillary Officers (PAOs) were rostered on day shift (7am to 5pm) and four were rostered on afternoon shift (3pm to 1am) each day of the Show. In addition, two PAOs were rostered to work one five hour shift each at the WA Police Exhibition.
The PAOs were used in the capacity of property management (processing of lost and found property) and assisting frontline officers with custody matters for persons arrested or detained during the hours of the Royal Show.
