(1) 108 vehicles have exceeded their initial lease terms as at 14 August 2007.
(2) 54 vehicles of these vehicles will be replaced by 30 September 2007 as part of the scheduled vehicle replacement process, being:
31 vehicles had an initial lease term of 40,000 km however due to increased utilisation or varied deployment, they are being strategically managed to 60,000 km to optimise the lease benefits to WA Police.
15 are decommissioned vehicles being retained in the short term to meet operational requirements.
8 vehicles are scheduled for replacement however delays have occurred in manufacturer delivery, vehicle selection and as a result of extensive commissioning/customisation requirements.
