In the 2021 State Budget, the Government committed an additional $21.8 million to provide public schools the opportunity to purchase chaplaincy services to support the social and emotional wellbeing of students and staff.
The Department of Education advises that the following number of schools requested funding to access a school chaplain or student wellbeing officer through the Department’s centralised panel of providers.
