I refer to the Minister for Regional Development's media statement of 3 November 2014 concerning work on projects in Karratha, and I ask: (a) how many earthmoving, concrete and fencing contractors are currently working onsite, and how many of those were recruited locally; (b) can the Minister confirm that The Quarter construction phase will provide up to 150 local jobs; (c) how many workers are currently working on The Quarter project, and: (i) how many of those workers were recruited locally; and (ii) how many of those workers are non-local; and (d) how many workers are currently working on the Karratha Health Campus site, and: (i) how many of those workers were recruited locally; and (ii) how many of those workers are non-local?

(a)  For The Quarter - There is currently one concrete contractor on site,  who is based in Karratha.
For the Health Campus - There are 12 earthmoving contractors and  suppliers, 10 were recruited locally.
(b) Yes - The project remains on track to provide up to 150 local jobs.
(c) There are currently 65 workers engaged on site on The Quarter project  per day.
(i) 39 workers were recruited locally.
(ii) 26 workers are non-local.
(d) There are currently 40 workers engaged on site on the Karratha Health Campus per day.
(i) 28 workers were recruited locally.
(ii) 12 workers are non-local.
