STANDARDS
936. Hon COLIN TINCKNELL to the Minister for Education and
Training:
I refer to the compliance of non-government
schools.
(1) Can the minister confirm that all non-government
schools in Western Australia are required to comply with the registration standards determined by the
minister in accordance with section 159 of the School Education Act
1999?
(2) Can the
minister confirm that Santa Maria College in Attadale is one of the
non-government schools required to comply with those standards?
(3) Has the minister or her office ever received in
writing, in person, or by phone a complaint about Santa Maria College regarding noncompliance with the state's
registration standards, specifically in relation to procedural fairness?
(4) If yes to (3), what was the
minister's response to those complaints?
