(1) I refer to the Premier's decision, as announced in Question Time on 28 February 2012, to amalgamate Synergy, Verve Energy, Western Power and Horizon Power to form two utilities, and I ask:
(a) since 1 January 2012, has the Premier held discussions with any of the following organisations regarding the issue of amalgamation of Verve Energy and Synergy, and if so, on what date(s):
(i) The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia;
(ii) The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia;
(iii) The Energy Supply Association of Australia;
(iv) The Energy Retailers Association of Australia;
(v) Alinta;
(vi) Verve Energy;
(vii) Horizon Power;
(viii) Western Power;
(ix) Synergy;
(x) Perth Energy;
(xi) ERM Power;
(xii) Griffin Energy;
(xiii) TransAlta Energy;
(xiv) Alcoa;
(xv) BHP Billiton;
(xvi) The Department of State Development;
(xvii) The Office of Energy;
(xviii) The Independent Market Operator;
(xix) The Economic Regulation Authority;
(xx) Lanco; and
(xxi) Yancoal?
(2) Since 1 January 2012, has the Premier received correspondence from any of the organisations listed in (1) regarding the issue of amalgamation of Verve Energy and Synergy, and if so, on what date(s)?
(a) since 1 January 2012, has the Premier held discussions with any of the following organisations regarding the issue of amalgamation of Verve Energy and Synergy, and if so, on what date(s):

Alternatively, the Member may wish to submit a Freedom of Information application relating to meetings cited or correspondence received.
