The Gascoyne Development Commission (GDC) did not have its own display at the Perth Royal Show, although the GDC provided 1 staff member to assist on the Shire of Carnarvon's Gascoyne display for 2x6 hours shifts. As the staff volunteered their service, it was agreed, no wages would be paid.

The Wheatbelt Development Commission (WDC) approved a Royalties for Regions Out of Session Strategic Grant 09/10 Round to Avon Valley on behalf of Avon Tourism Incorporated to be the Guest Region at this year's Perth Royal Show. The cost of this grant was $45,000 plus GST. WDC also had staff wages of $2,485.71 gross (over 8 days).
