Child protection—State Coroner's
recommendations
648. Hon Maryka Groenewald to the parliamentary
secretary representing the Minister for Health:
I note that it is
Child Protection Week. I refer to question without notice C656 regarding the 42
recommendations from Coroner Fogliani's inquest.
(1) Of the eight
recommendations reported as closed, does this mean they have been fully
implemented or abandoned?
(2) How many recommendations have been superseded?
(3) Of those recorded as in progress, how many
will be fully implemented within the next 24 months and what are they?

been provided by the Minister for Health.
(1) All recommendations that are listed as closed
have been implemented.
(2) None.
(3) Responsibility for recommendations is shared
across multiple agencies. As such, I request the honourable member to place
this question on notice.
