CHINESE NEW YEAR PROGRAM — FUNDING
492. Hon MARTIN PRITCHARD to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Interests:
I refer to budget paper No 2, volume
2, page 765, and the allocation of $500
000 for a Chinese New Year program.
(1) Is the funding to be given
directly to the City of Perth?
(2) If no to (1),
will the minister please provide a detailed breakdown of how that allocation
will be spent?
(3) Will the funding include any
third party payments or grants; and, if so, to whom?
(4) Will the
authority to provide any third party payments or grants be made by the minister
or will that be delegated to the Department of Local Government and
Communities?
