March for Australia
897. Hon Rod Caddies to
the Leader of the House representing the
Premier:
I refer to the
recent March for Australia rallies in which thousands of patriotic Western
Australians stood up for our nation and democracy against mass migration.
(1) Will the WA Labor government commend these
participants for their peaceful commitment to making Australia a better place?
(2) Does the Premier acknowledge that many Western
Australians have legitimate concerns regarding mass immigration?

I thank the
honourable member for some notice of the question. I advise the member that I
represent the Premier in this house.
(1)–(2) Immigration has shaped our nation
and is an important part of who we are. Immigrants help drive our economy and
deliver essential government services. They make a valuable contribution to the
WA community and should not be demonised.
