(1)-(3) The Department of Education and Training provides decentralised cultural support and advice for teachers through managers, Aboriginal education, and coordinators of Aboriginal education at district offices. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island education officers provide support and advice to teachers at the school level. Western Australian universities provide core or elective units in Aboriginal education and/or multicultural studies in their teacher training courses.
