1. 697 primary teachers have applied to the
Switch
program and 339 have been selected to commence or have commenced to date.
2. The fixed term teacher pool contains 690 teachers who are not currently employed by the Department of Education. There are further teachers who are not currently employed by the department who have not placed themselves in the fixed term pool, but are applying to fixed term vacancies which are advertised on JobsWA.
3. Approximately 260.
4. Nil currently; however, interstate and overseas recruitment options are part of a general strategy to increase supply and choice.
