COVID-19 vaccination program.
(1) What is the current stock level
of Pfizer first dose vaccinations for each health region?
(2) What is the current stock level
of AstraZeneca first dose vaccinations for each health region?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following answer is provided on behalf of the
Minister for Health.
(1)–(3) The commonwealth government allocates and
distributes vaccines to the states and to primary care providers , and the planning parameters for the allocation
have not been shared with the state. The vaccine stocks provided to WA Health are managed centrally and provided to
regional areas as required. As at 10 August 2021, the Pfizer stock on
hand for WA Health was 100 794 doses and the AstraZeneca stock on hand for WA
Health was 51 913 doses.
