Please advise the name and number of positions in the senior executive of the State Solicitors office, and advise: (a) of those positions, which are filled permanent and which are on an acting basis; (b) of those that are filled on an acting basis; how long have they been filled on an acting basis: (i) has each position been filled on after a competitive process; (ii) which positions are filled in accordance with public sector standards for the appointment of temporary positions; and (iii) what is the pay rate being received by each of those acting positions; and (c) has the new State Solicitor received formal or informal bullying complaints against any members of his senior executive: (i) has he taken the appropriate steps in accordance with the Public Sector Code of Ethics to act on those complaints; and (ii) if not, why not?

(c) There are no formal bullying complaints against any member of the Senior Executive.
An informal complaint was identified in early 2024 and due process was followed in addressing it in accordance with legislative requirements, Public Sector standards, policy, and procedures. As with all public sector employers, the State Solicitor would treat any bullying concerns as a serious matter.
