I have a supplementary question. Will the minister ensure that the future hazardous waste precincts are selected and made public prior to the next election? Dr J.M. EDWARDS

I am not sure which bit the member has missed. Last year I offered all members of Parliament a briefing on this process. Very few members attended. To his credit, the member for Vasse attended, so at least I will acknowledge him, and the Leader of the National Party sent his research officer. We have set out a program to keep all members of Parliament fully informed. That timetable has not altered since the end of last year. A lot of work is still to be gone through before sites are chosen. However, when they are chosen, there will be full public consultation. It will be done in the full eye of the public, and it will then be subjected to a full EPA assessment.
