When we made the cuts and concerns
were raised, the federal government came out with additional grants. I cannot
comment on what the federal government decides to do going forward; that is up
to the federal government. We are continuing to deliver what we committed to in the forward estimates. We have not reduced that. Under the 27
per cent, local government was getting more funds than was forecast and it was
not spending the money. We have pared the funds back to what was forecast. As I
said, local government had not been spending that. What the commonwealth
government does is what the commonwealth government does.
