Royal Flying Doctor Service—Geraldton
101. Ms Kirrilee Warr to the Minister for Health:
I refer to plans to
provide $7.5 million of state funding to establish a Royal Flying Doctor
Service base in Geraldton.
(1) What is the current status of this project and
when will it be delivered?
(2) Is the minister aware that the RFDS requires a
total of $12 million to $15 million to deliver this facility?
(3) If so, why is her government short-changing
this critically important regional health facility?

AnswerView source ↗

I want to thank the
member for her question, which relates to one of the important election
commitments that we made during the last election.
(1)–(3) All of our election commitments
are subject to the budget process. The budget will be handed down in this place
in June and we will have more to say about it then.
