(1) How many will be located in the South West region?
(2) Where in the South West region will they be located?
(3) When will they be available?
(4) Will the lots be available for purchase by the general public?
(5) If yes to (4), what is the process for people to purchase these lots and what is the expected cost of the lots?
(6) If no to (4), will the lots be developed by government or private developer?
(7) Will the lots and dwellings built on the lots remain in government ownership or is the intention to sell them or gift them to non-government organisations or other?
(8) How many of the lots are suitable for group dwellings and how many dwellings may be constructed on each lot?
(9) How much of the funding for the creation of the lots is State Government funding and how much is being funded by the Federal government?
(10) What is the total cost of releasing the 3,130 lots?

The Department of Housing advises:
(1) 59
(2) The Department's Dalyellup joint venture, situated within the Shire of Capel.
(3) Lots are already available for sale in this estate.
(4) The Dalyellup joint venture agreement provides for one in 12 lots to be retained by the Department. The remaining lots will be available to the general public.
(5) The sales process is for lots to be advertised for sale to the general public by an appointed sales agent. The price of the lots currently available for purchase at Dalyellup are listed below.

(7) The intention is to sell to the general public the lots that are not being retained by the Department of Housing.
(8) There are currently no group housing lots available at Dalyellup.
(9) The Dalyellup development is a joint venture partnership between the Housing Authority and Home Satterley Dalyellup Pty Ltd. The development costs are funded on a 50/50 basis between the joint venture partners. No Commonwealth Government funds are received for the development.
(10) The cost to develop the planned lots for 2012-13 and bring them to market will vary significantly from one development to another. The actual costs will not be known until the construction has been completed and the final number of lots constructed is known.
(11) The Department's land developments are funded either by the Department (i.e. the State Government) or, in the case of some joint ventures, jointly by the Department and its joint venture partner. The Department does not receive ongoing Commonwealth Government funding for its land developments other than through grants programs such as Housing Affordability Fund (HAF) funding. There is no HAF funding in the Department's Dalyellup joint venture.
