I refer to Questions on Notice Nos 5687 and 3168 regarding Department of Housing properties, and I ask: (a) how many people were housed in Wyndham from the waitlist between October 2014 and August 2016; and (b) please explain why there has been such a large reduction of people on the waitist for Wyndham?

The Housing Authority advises:
(a) From 1 October 2014 to 31 August 2016, 17 applications were housed in Wyndham.
(b) On 28 October 2014, there were 46 applications on the waitlist for Wyndham. As at 31 July 2016, there were 27 applications on the waitlist for Wyndham.
From 28 October 2014 to 31 August 2016 there was a reduction of 19 applications on the waitlist. 17 of these applications were housed by the Authority.
In the previous answer to Question on Notice 5687, the Housing Authority provided the number of applications on the waitlist, rather than the number of people.
