POLICE — SOUTH WEST VACANCIES
482. Hon MATT BENSON-LIDHOLM to the minister representing
the Minister for Police:
I ask this question on behalf of Hon Adele Farina who is out of the house on urgent parliamentary
business. I refer to police full-time equivalent vacancies in the south
west. How many FTE positions in the south west are currently —
(a) vacant; and
(b) have people acting in the positions in each of the
following categories —
(i) fully sworn police officer,
(ii) auxiliary police officer,
(iii) detective,
(iv) forensic officer,
(v) officer in charge, and
(vi) inspector?

(a) There are
9.5 constable FTEs vacant—awaiting applicants; and two sergeant officer
in charge FTEs—appointments made and transfers issued.
(b) (i)–(iv) Not applicable.
(v) Two sergeant OIC positions;

(vi) Not applicable.
