(b) prison staff (including prison officers); and (c) visitors?
(c) visitors?
(b) Yes (c) Yes 2. The Department of Justice's Safety and Security Review was carried out during April and May 2005 by a team of senior staff, who visited all prisons and consulted with staff, prisoners and visitors to prisons. During the review process a number of issues were identified, which have already been actioned. A full report is currently being prepared and it is likely that the report will detail a number of recommendations. It is anticipated, however, that for operational and security reasons, the report will not be made public. A specialist consultant will be engaged in June 2005 to review the occupational health and safety issues identified through the departmental Safety and Security Review and that consultant will prepare a separate independent report for consideration. 3.
