1028. Hon DARREN WEST to the
parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Housing:
Could the minister advise the
current number of applicants on the general waitlist and the priority waitlist
for public housing in the following locations —
(a) Broome;
(b) Kununurra;
(c) Fitzroy Crossing;
(d) Newman;
(e) Port Hedland; and
(f) Karratha?

I thank the member for some notice of the question. The number of
applicants on the general waitlist and
priority waitlist respectively are —
(a) Broome, 384 and 80;
(b) Kununurra, 156 and 47;
(c) Fitzroy Crossing, 26 and four;
(d) Newman, 32 and two;
(e) Port Hedland, 154 and 19; and
(f) Karratha, 146 and 31.
