The Minister for Health has supplied the following answer - (1) South Metropolitan Area Health Service response time data has been collected since the service became operational in September 2006. Formal reporting, as per the attached, commenced as at March 2007. (2) The North Metropolitan Area Health Service quarterly reports are attached. The North Metropolitan Area Health Service commenced operation in a staged manner commencing October 2006 and was fully operational in January 2007. (3) Verbal reports are provided to the Advisory Group for Mental Health Emergency Services and not tabulated into comparison reports. A review of North and South Metropolitan Area Health Service reports will provide comparisons.
