METROPOLITAN AREA HEALTH SERVICE COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAMS
(1) Will the minister please table reports available to district and area managers that show response times for the South Metropolitan Area Health Service community emergency response teams since 1 July 2006? (2) Will the minister please table reports containing response times provided to the north metropolitan clinical director and the adult mental health services that include the CERT response times since 1 July 2006? (3) Will the minister please table the comparisons of the South Metropolitan Area Health Service and the North Metropolitan Area Health Service CERT response times provided to the Advisory Group for Mental Health Emergency Services since November 2006? On behalf of the responsible minister, I thank the member for some notice of this question. The Minister for Health has supplied the following answer - (1) South Metropolitan Area Health Service response time data has been collected since the service became operational in September 2006. Formal reporting, as per the attached, commenced as at March 2007. (2) The North Metropolitan Area Health Service quarterly reports are attached. The North Metropolitan Area Health Service commenced operation in a staged manner commencing October 2006 and was fully operational in January 2007. (3) Verbal reports are provided to the Advisory Group for Mental Health Emergency Services and not tabulated into comparison reports. A review of North and South Metropolitan Area Health Service reports will provide comparisons.
