390. Hon MATT BENSON-LIDHOLM to the minister representing
the Minister for Health:
I refer to recent media reports that
several Department of Health employees have been charged with accepting offers
of money to be involved in substituting urine samples with clean urine samples
to assist people seeking mining jobs.
(1) Can the minister confirm the
number of employees who have been charged to date?
(2) Are all
these employees currently suspended from their employment, pending the outcome
of the court case?
(3) If yes to (2), have they have been suspended without pay
or with pay?
