I refer to the May 2002 Ninga Mia Aboriginal Community layout plan/report produced for them by Connell Wagner and which includes information about the nearby Loongana Lime operations -
(1) Is it correct that the above May 2002 plan/report in part states ‘Fumes from nearby Loongana Lime are an environmental issue that concerns the Ninga Mia Community. A number of community members have complained to the Department of Indigenous Affairs (DIA), to the extent that Loongana Lime wrote a letter to the DIA stating that they acknowledged the ill effects of the fumes on the Ninga Mia Community, but that these were due to a ‘one off’ occurrence’?
(2) If no to (1), can the Minister quote the specific text from the above referred to plan/report?
(3) Can the Minister quote the full text of any correspondence mentioned in this plan and sent by DIA addressed to Loongana Lime concerning the fumes and ill effects?
(4) If no to (3), why not?
(5) Can the Minister quote the full text from the letter, mentioned in the above plan, sent to the DIA from Loongana Lime?
(6) If no to (5), why not?
(7) Will the Minister table all of the correspondence mentioned in questions (3) and (4) above?
(8) If no to (7), why not?
