I refer to the Government's SmartRider upgrade to allow debit cards, phones and the like to be used to make Transperth payments, first promised for completion in December 2019 and currently scheduled for completion over six years later in June 2026, and I ask: (a) what was the total estimated cost of the project when it was first announced; (b) what is the current total estimated cost of the project; (c) why will it have taken over six years for the project to be completed; (d) what risk is there that the project is not completed by June 2026; and (e) can the Minister guarantee that the project will be completed by June 2026?
