Hon Steve Martin asks the Minister for Transport about crash statistics at the Bussell Highway and Memorial Drive intersection in Cowaramup, identified as risky by the RAC, and what remediation steps are planned, given its prior inclusion in the 2022 survey. The Minister responded that there were no serious or fatal crashes in 2024 and that Main Roads is working with the local Shire to improve safety.

I refer to the RAC 'Risky Roads Survey 2024/25', and the results in relation to the top 10 risky intersections in regional Western Australia, and I ask:(a) for the Bussell Highway and Memorial Drive intersection in Cowaramup:(i) how many serious crashes occurred at or near the area in 2024;(ii) how many fatal crashes occurred at or near the area in 2024; and(iii) noting that the location also appeared in the 2022 'Risky Roads' summary, what steps have been taken, or are being planned, to remediate risk along the identified area?
