(1) No.
(2) LPG buses are not being considered as they are less safe and more expensive to operate than compressed natural gas (CNG) buses or diesel powered buses. There are also no original equipment manufacturers of LPG buses and therefore significant modification of a diesel powered bus would be required to implement this technology. This would potentially have resultant warranty and reliability issues.
(3) Yes.
(4) The preferred split is 50 per cent CNG and 50 per cent diesel.
