Further to question on notice No 84, which was answered on 7 August 2001 - (1) Does the Government still support the inclusion of the Scott Coastal Plain Reserves UCL - unallocated crown land - 754, UCL 4973, reserve A12951 and the UCL between location 753 and the nature reserve at Brennan’s Bridge, into the Scott River National Park? (2) The Shire of Augusta-Margaret River advised on 1 July 2003 that it supports the inclusion of reserve A12951 into the Scott River National Park. The shire’s support was conditional upon CALM providing public camping areas in the area. The department will liaise with the shire over the camping area options in the area.
