(3) What are the details of the Busselton Jetty restoration project, in particular, -
(a) what sections of the Jetty will be restored; and
(b) what materials (steel or timber) are being used to restore the Jetty?
(4) Has the Shire of Busselton provided the Minister with a detailed program of the work (works program) proposed to fully restore the Jetty?
(5) If no to (4), will the Minister require the Shire of Busselton to provide a works program?
(6) If yes to (5), will the Minister table the works program?
(7) If the Minister will not table the works program, why not?
(8) Has the Minister approved the proposed Jetty works program?

(1) The Minister for Transport is responsible for the administration of the Jetties Act 1926 and, under this Act, can require the repair, maintenance and preservation of jetties. However, the responsibility for the jetty lies with the licensee, the Shire of Busselton.
(2) In 2008-09 $2 million will be provided by the South West Development Commission through redirection of priorities and $10 million from consolidated revenue. In 2009-10, $12 million will be provided from consolidated revenue.
(3) (a) The entire jetty and the Scout Road Boat Ramp.
(b) Primarily timber, steel and concrete.
