I refer to the state government's
aspiration of net zero emissions by 2050.
Has any analysis been done on —
(a) a net zero transition for Western
Australia;
(b) Western Australia's
emission projections; and
(c) marginal abatement cost curves?

lay the foundations for Western Australia's transition to net zero
emissions by 2050. It is anticipated that the state climate policy will outline
a range of actions, including analysis of opportunities for cost-effective
greenhouse gas abatement across the economy.
