I refer to an article published on 9 July 2025 by Peter Milne at the website Boiling Cold in relation to Westport, and I ask: (a) will the construction of Westport have impacts on the operation of the Perth Seawater Desalination Plant; (b) if yes to (a), what impacts, and how will they be mitigated; (c) is it accurate that a decision to move port facilities one kilometre south has been made; (d) if yes to (c), when was this decision made, and by whom; (e) if yes to (c), what is the cost of implanting this decision; and (f) if yes to (c), what other impacts on the Westport project are expected as a result of the decision to move the port facilities south?
